Grab Bike, Head East, and Ride Until You See Sand!

2 days, 206 miles, 3 riders, 0 flats, a few asshole drivers, 4 hours of rain, 1 wrong turn, and a lot of headwind.

Start: Woodbine, MD
Finish: Dewey Beach, DE (walking distance from Dogfish Head Brew Pub. Somehow there is always beer involved in these little adventures)

It was a whole lotta fun!

Spy Photo of New 2007 Product Line

Saddle selection is a highly personal choice. What one rider finds incredibly comfortable another finds it rubs their ass raw. Every year manufacturers come out with more saddle choices that promise light weight, comfort, durability and the promise to keep your man/woman parts from going numb on long rides.

Some weight weenie racer types care less about comfort and more about the lack of grams and customize their saddles by removing padding and trimming away material to the bare minimum to make them milliseconds faster. Some saddles though, defy categorization. Is it for comfort? Pleasure? Weight savings? I've studied this one at a distance, but I'll pass on the test riding it. We'll leave that for one of those higher quality publications like Mountain Bike Fiction. This seems right up their "alley". I would say if you are going to use this saddle, liberal application of something along the lines of AsMaster Chamois Creme is probably a good idea.

Happy Riding!
